CAPTAIN FORESKIN

FORESKIN ADVENTURE We started playing together about 13 years ago, making goofy songs. Well the next thing you know we decided to record our songs. We started playing music in our garages, we had a panisonic tape recorder, and a keyboard and a guitar effect processer, a GT-3, and a casio keyboard, and a cheap radioshack mic. We our friends with allot of bands, metal and punk bands, one band, I would like to mention, is the Horrifcs, they are kick ass.Dave and I met when I was 20 about to turn 21. Dave was 18, we are best friends, have been for a long time.

Dave is like my little bro.I remember the first time I met Dave. He was in a jam shirt, singing with a broom handle, and had a fro like Werid Al. I was like what the hell. But then we started talking about music and we had allot of things incommon with each other. Thats what started this band career. I guess you can say we are like a Werid Al meets Slayer/Metallica/Ramones/Misfits/Spinal Tap/The Cure a very werid combination,

AND NOW THE FULL FORCE OF FORESKIN STANDS ALONE AND WILL CARRY ON BAD PUNK ROCK!!!!!! OUR SHIRTS AND CD CAN BE PURCHASED ON OUR MYSPACE PAGE, BY MAIL IN AND SENDING US A MESSAGE WITH A REQUEST

Song Title: EZZY E

At The End Of The World

February 9, 2010 in Featured Artist, Rock by TMC

Genre: Rock/Metal
Website: http://www.myspace.com/attheendoftheworldmusic

At the End of the World embodies a resurgence of the heavy riffing, hard hitting, cynical attitude of what has made some the best eras of hard rock and metal as intense, energetic, and as powerful as it was always meant to be. We play with raw power and emotion, with a sound that treads the line between art and insanity.

“Our music is a brutal honesty to our views on the often horrifying, always exciting, journey of living and dying and all the experiences in between. We continue to progress with our style, which is unique to the five of us and our personal experiences” says bassist Andrew Brunetti.

When listening to their recent studio recordings (featuring tracks Save Yourself and Panic Pull) its obvious that their sound draws inspiration from a mix of bands, ranging from the twisted and genius creations of Alice in Chains and Tool to the head slamming power of metal legends such as Pantera and Meshugga. Hailing out of Brooklyn New York, At The End Of The World represent a new era of rock that is well overdue to emerge and conquer.

Brunetti adds, “More than anything we want our sound to be heard. This is what we live for, what we love, and what we want to bring to those who appreciate good music. We’re hoping to stir up and contribute to a new beginning in the hard rock and metal scene.”

So if you are interested in joining the movement to bring real, true hard rock back to New York and the rest of the world, check out At The End Of The World.soon you wont have a choice anyway.

Chrome Leaf Records Unveil 2010 Releases

January 29, 2010 in News by TMC

Chrome Leaf Records Chrome Leaf Records are firing up some disturbing new releases for 2010. The first to be released is the foul and utterly terrifying split LP between Australian noise terrorists NEKRASOV and our old pal Mories (Gnaw Their Tongues, De Magia Veterum) with more oppressive new material from another of his noiseterror projects, ADERLATING. This LP release will be limited to 300 copies only, on translucent dark green with silver splatter wax.

As one might expect from such a union, this split LP shall surely be one of the most frightening releases of 2010, punishing the listener with each act’s depraved experimentation within black metal, dark noise and ambient sub-musical territories. Australian one-man unit NEKRASOV embraces Nothing as a state and rejects Nothing as a value.

PTAHIL Recruit New Members Begin Work On Full CD

January 19, 2010 in News by TMC

PTAHIL Indiana black metal force PTAHIL — now featuring recently recruited guitarist/vocalist Nacht (Hordes Of The Lunar Eclipse; ex-Typhus; ex-Balor) and bassist/vocalist Luathca (Hordes Of The Lunar Eclipse; ex-Fog) alongside founding drummer Mhaghnuis  — have started writing their full-length follow-up to the very limited, Ortus MCD, tentatively titled Codex Lucifer. The trio plan to perform a few select rituals to support the new release, scheduled for a late 2010/early 2011 street date.

PTAHIL‘s involvement is Illumination through Satanic Gnosticism; black metal charged with adversarial ritual and spirituality sworn to the Anti-Cosmic Chaos and the perpetuation towards the death of all life. The works of PTAHIL are lyrically inspired by Satanic introspection and musically composed from dissonant flagellation.

Injury Forces ABIGAIL WILLIAMS To Cancel Tour With Nile

January 15, 2010 in News by TMC

ABIGAIL WILLIAMS Due to drummer Ken Meyers’ recent injury, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS are forced to cancel their upcoming tour with Nile scheduled to kick off January 15 in Baltimore, Maryland.  The tour was planned to support the recent release of a deluxe version of the band’s latest album, In The Shadow Of A Thousand Suns (featuring five bonus songs and all new artwork) and the vinyl pressing of the popular record originally released late 2008.

Discussing the enhancements of the deluxe edition in a recent interview, vocalist/guitarist Sorceron reveals: “‘In Death Comes The Great Silence’ reveals a new direction that the band has been working towards over the last year. ‘Infernal Divide’ is another new song that I feel again redefines our established sound. This track was recorded quite raw and has a strong black metal influence. ‘Waiting For The Rain’ is a somber interlude we have been using a bit during live shows.

January 15, 2010 in News by TMC

WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM First Australian Tour  Cascadian Tour 2010

After a very brief hibernation, Washington state’s purveying clan of ethereal, organic black metal WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM are on the prowl again this winter. The band are proud to announce their upcoming four-date tour within their Cascadian homelands, in preparation of their first ever Australian tour, both to take place this February.
A statement from the band:

“WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM are happy to announce that after a restful hiatus we will embark on a tour of Cascadia in February 2010. When we returned home after our last long series of journeys we concluded that the options before us were to never tour again or to seize complete control over the way that we tour.
