Howling Trains and Barking Dogs will be released worldwide on June 29 and marks Cindy’s first solo recording in five years. The CD is a collection of her Nashville songwriter collaborations, Radney Foster, Bill Lloyd, Matraca Berg, Kye Fleming, Mary Ann Kennedy and Al Anderson all contribute to the new recording. Howling Trains and Barking Dogs was produced by Two-time Grammy nominee Cindy Bullens and recorded in her Home state of Maine in 2010. Special guests include David Mansfield on fiddle, Radney Foster and fellow Refugee band members, Wendy Waldman and Deborah Holland. The new recording is pure Americana and a genuine reflection where Cindy Bullens is as a solo artist.

No Depression Cindy has enjoyed a 30-year plus career that has included singing and touring with Elton John, as well as appearing on the Grease soundtrack. She has also collaborated with an amazing array of artists including John Hiatt, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, and Delbert McClinton to name a few. Cindy has recognized by the industry having twice been nominated for Grammy Awards. Cindy Bullens is pursuing her passion for politics and running for the State Senate in 2010 in her home state of Maine.
